Pastor Mark has a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and became an Elder in 2009. His theological focus is based upon faithful belief in the Trinity and “how our relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is part of our daily lives. I take seriously the United Methodist Church mission statement - to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world - believing that Jesus has shown us a way for us to offer more today than just taking up space while awaiting a blessed afterlife. My life and ministry are guided by four simple rules:

1. Love God, 2. Love others, 3. Do no harm, and 4. Do all the good possible.”

 

Pastor Mark’s background is in software and computer engineering, computer simulation and network management. His undergraduate degree was obtained at Adrian College (Geology and Math), where he says, “Jesus found me and I found my wife, Sharon.” He is a multi-instrumental musician whose interest extends in many directions, but he has a particular affinity for jazz.
